About Selene

In 1970, Guido Crepax brought to life a sensual and extremely erotic female figure who was and still is my inspiring muse: a photographer living in a dreamlike world between madness and reality, an emancipated, independent, and elegant woman. Her name is Valentina.
If I close my eyes, I can feel her presence; to me, she is alive. If I close my eyes, I can feel her inside of me.

About Seleneluna
Just like her, Selene entered my life like a dream—a beautiful erotic dream born from the eruption of a volcano made of passion, desires, and creative force, but also of fear and deep suffering. Yet, it is thanks to my emotions that I was able to fully express what was happening inside of me, allowing me to reach ancient and dark territories.
Bringing light into the shadows is demanding. Diving into the darkness is like jumping off a diving board into the ocean at night; the unknown frightens, destabilizes, breeds insecurity, and can sometimes leave us feeling stuck or lost. But shadow does not mean evil, just as light does not mean good—everything is necessary to trigger the healing processes. Every wound or trauma deserves to be seen, touched, and accepted so that it can finally become a scar. We must not deny the past, but rather make it part of our journey, and like scars, look back at it from time to time to remind ourselves where we come from and how far we have traveled.
I spent a large part of my life feeling alone even though I wasn’t. But solitude is a state of mind, and the moment I allowed Selene to explode and burn like fire, that was the moment I began to feel part of something greater.
Every single step, every single defeat, every joy, pain, and fear—every event in my life has brought me today to this biography, driven by the desire to vibrate with everyone who will happen to read my words and share this piece of me together. We are small, but we are many, and together we can tear down those walls that block our horizons. Unity is our strength.
I believe in life, which always knows what needs to happen, even when we don’t understand the reason and see everything going in the opposite direction. But if we had all the answers, what would be the fun in that?
I thank my demons, who with their brutality and ferocity allowed me to become the creature I am today.
